No, he wasnt offside. They selected a part of his arm (not his hand which was further forward) that was offside. So i ask you this smart arse...if the VAR puts the line on his shoulder does anyone complain?
They chose a part of his arm that he can score with.

In terms of control and domination that was close to perfection but if we're going to be criticil we haven't created that much in truth. Needs to be a bit sharper. This has been the pattern for a few games now though, halftime usually with a lead but not created much and then second half we step up and capitalise on a tired team. A nice erly second half goal will end this.
 
So now these bent bastards Have an entire "arm" to use at their own discretion when allocating a VAR line.

Thats what i am getting from that .

Even though any goal from an arm is Handball.
