Otamendi is going to be another one of those players who takes 2-3 years to look any good... and then he'll make a move to Italy.

I would expect a certain level of competence considering we splashed £33m on the bloke.

We look laboured and the passing at times has been woeful,hopefully the goal from aguero will give us the spark to go on and win this,but defensively we look shocking..

great team goal to get us back in the game but the back 4 is just getting worse with every game...lack of marking and positioning......really poor! We also need to stop pushing the ball out wide...need to be direct....cant believe the amount of times we crossing a ball with 5 defenders and just one striker in the box....side ways, short passing just gives defenders time to get back in position...Newcastle could have had 3 goals in 1st half.....Come on City we can play better than this.......

As I said at halftime of the BMGB match, it wasn't as bad as some people on here are making it out to be.

Sorry, but that was awful defensively, as bad as I've seen us for years. We probably will go on to win but surely no one can be confident after that?

To much of an urge for both wingback and CM's to get forward. Leaves us bare at the back, with most attacks coming down Kolarovs side. It's being exposed way to often and the weakness is glaring. Having Zab or Kola covering makes are more rigid 3
