Sterling has done that before, was it against Burnley at home last season ? Ran through and tripped himself...Aguero followed up and smashed it in with 2 defenders on the line. Might have been the 16-17 season.

Need to get Gundogan on in the second half to share some of Jesus' boos. He's lonely out there without Mendy.

Ref blew for half-time at 44:58.

Shakhtar are quite impressive in possession but lack end product.

How many incorrectly awarded penalties do we see week in week out in the PL but there are no suggestions to say the gaining team should miss on purpose but i get the football world will now claim we should have done so (personally i would have been glad if we had)

Sterling should have told the referee that it wasn’t a penalty. Really poor all round from Sterling, the referee and the officials.

The paronoia about uefa hating city seems to be disproven
Maybe but once a penalty is given it’s given. We should have just rolled it to the keeper though. Given all the officials matches have nowadays that was the most shocking decision I’ve ever seen. But football is a fast game, officials don’t have multi camera replays and are just human

This forum would burn down if something like that went against us. We need VAR.
