I like how comfortable we look when they break with 3 at the back, but I can't help but feel it's a bit conservative against sides playing like West Ham are. Especially when you have Toure sat in front of them. Nobody played badly that first half IMO but we still managed to look some way short of being a team.

Danilo has certainly impressed again, reminds of Zab about 3 years ago.

I enjoyed Ederson coming out like that, it will cost us occasionally, but it will add far more than it gives away.

KdB looks hungry.

Back 3, first time I've ever felt confident about us playing it, I know they haven't done much, but it does look to have a bit of something about it.
pre season weve played mostly 3-5-2 and I like it a lot especailly with the additions weve made

Danilo is what I thought Maicon would be, not what he was.
He fairly eats up the yards, at a canter, and that will catch some poor soul out early season.

It's 12 degrees in Iceland and it is forecast to be 24 against Girona on Tuesday.
Not that the match isn't compelling so far.

How on earth some of the clowns on here think that was a bad performance is beyond me lol

We don't seem to have taken this pre season seriously upfront, to many players trying fancy flicks and back heels when a simple ball is all that's needed!
I was going to say, if I was Pep I would actually be frustrated with that first half performance for this and several other reasons.

As it is, as just me, I am.
