Waste a lot of time with possession in matches like this where control is difficult to maintain. Should ping it on the sides, winger or overlap in behind, slip them through cross into box, then repeat. Two or three touches and put the ball in their box. And don’t think a little more directness would hurt in opening them up and inviting some gaps.

We’ve been okay, against a team in the biggest game of their lives on a poor surface.
