Decent but cagey first half from both teams,I hope we can turn it up a notch second half as some might think ( if it ends 0-0) is a good result it’s cagey as fuck if you concede at home knowing you need two to go through,shame about Laporte hope it’s not to bad ..

Both sides are taking it easy at the minute. I expect it to take off in the second half. Shame about Laporte but if Mendy gets sent off we might be screwed and he does like diving in doesn't he.

That went by quite quickly.

Sloppy passes in dangerous areas. Not enough runs off the ball, not being direct enough when there’s a run. Regardless, they’ve forced some save from Courtois. Kevin with some nice passes and Jesus pressing well. Mendy started well but it seems like the yellow has made him lose the momentum he began with.

Lots to improve. Would snatch a 0-1 win and run. Come on lads!

Best we've looked defensively all season. Players working their socks off. Kind of annoying that it takes playing Madrid for them to do so though

To be fair, it's mainly because we're playing a much more organised, defensive style. The only time we ever normally do it is if we're winning 1-0 against a top team with 5 minutes to go.

Not terrible, but not great either. Playing De Bruyne up front is criminal. He has barely been involved. Our best play came from the one moment in the game that he dropped back. Laporte is an enormous loss. Hope it’s not serious, but with our luck it probably will be.

Nah, he’s had an alright 45 in general. A couple of hairy moments but worked hard and kept the left side attack by Madrid fairly quiet.
