it is really weird to me that Alan Smith can’t see the difference between a corner and a crossed free kick into the box from 25 yards out - and how a short corner replicates the latter if it’s swung in from the corner of the box.

he must see Laporte score after beating an 18 yard offside trap and realise it’s nothing like a corner.
