Nunes has been sensational even before the goal. Our best player by a mile, the technique to keep that shot down shouldnt be underestimated. Was a very difficult finish but even just being in that position is praise worthy, too often our wingers fail to tuck in on the back post, sterling made an entite career off feeding on them, needs to happen more. Also credit to mcatee for the movement infront that frees up nunes. savinho very good too.

On the opposite end of the scale, It's embarrassingly easy to get right at our back line with a even match up or even a man advantage. That'd nothing to do with any individual performance or anybody missing from the lineup it's just a major flaw in our game that's constantly being exploited on a weekly basis and needs rectifying.

Even though he's been brilliant, I'd like to see nunes central second half, the midfield could really benefit from his athleticism, stick mcatee false 9, foden goes left and nunes drops in, unlikely to happen but I just want to see our midfield given the shot in the arm it desperately needs.

Spurs seem unable to keep the tempo going. Last 15-20 min we looked more than decent. Is anyone else getting used we concede after a first shot on our goal? And trailing before winning (if we win tonight …)?

Good finish to the half. Nunes and Savinho are the key players for us tonight. They're causing problems down each side.

Should bring on the boy Alfa-Ruprecht to give them someone to aim for if we're not going to use Haaland tonight.

Yes it was.

But it's not completely unusual for us to look toothless whilst playing well and creating half opportunities/chances

Story of the season, so easy to score against and make goalscoring look so complicated. Just a severe lack of decent finishers throughout the squad.

Really impressed. Not playing with a striker and a formation that hasn’t played before. Sure a couple of defensive switches off- fine finish, too, but once the game settled there was only one team keeping possession. Injuries are probably going to cripple us this year, but with so much talent coming through, we’re going to have another big haul of silverware in the coming seasons.

The only thing that bothers me is that none of ours was sent off as they were walking off the pitch at half time. I'd take that as a sure sign that we are going to go on and win this…
