Best place for a pint or two before the game?

I have a Season Card this year and am no longer driving (not alcohol related), where is the best place to go for a pre match pint?

(and where to avoid)

I would go to the Townley plus there is a school close by if you want to park where u can get away really quickly after the game

I get the train into Piccadilly on match days so me and my brother always go into the Wetherspoons near Piccadilly gardens for a few, then it's just a 15 min walk up the canal to the ground or a £1 bus right outside the pub!

I'd highly recommend that for cheap pre-match beers!
