Problem is we will lo ball again and end up falling short. I also like pjanic aswell so either would be really good but I have a feeling we will fall short on both .

He's another player like Jorginho who never caught my eye particularly. I'll reserve my judgement for if & when we buy him. There's been some very mixed opinions on him, from he's a superstar on the making to he's utter shite & we should run.
 
Kovacic is good enough for us certainly, if Real Madrid set realistic price especially now he asked to leave then we should definitely buy him.
 
50M for Kovacic would be reasonable in today's market. It's hard to say where the club is at now though with midfield targets, I think we are keeping a low profile to avoid another situation like Jorginho. Pjanic and Kovacic both have a lot of good qualities but quite different playstyles. hopefully we do land one of them though before the season, I think either of those signings improves our squad, especially for competing in Europe.
