Congratulations! Any player that Txiki and Co see as a 4 yr pro contract player has to have something about him.
One concern with all young players at City now, though, is that the Academy not turn into ONLY a profit centre, and that some of these players get a good chance in the First Team Squad.

Yep,a more industrious defensive type.He's also versatile,having been played in the full back positions for our youth team.He's a midfielder?
We signed him from West Brom 4 years ago.

Called up to the full Welsh squad!! Mad. Other than the Checkatrade trophy games, still not been near first team football so that's crazy.

The thing is, he was actually a goal scorer in the u16s, and in his first year in the u18s he scored a couple of beauties too. There's so much more to his game than just running and tackling and I think that's a large part of then problem with the current academy coaches like Davies. So much of his ability has been shackled and it's pretty frustrating to watch. Turning him into a water carrier when he genuinely is so much more... but that's Davies for you.
