Surely any player can take time to settle, depending on age, culture, language etc, even position in team (Sane's first year). I remember when I moved from British Railway Stockport XI to Grapes (Hazel Grove) took me a while to accept the drinking culture (no sugar in tea, absolutely awful)

If we are lucky enough to sign him, we will be in a far better position. JS is good, but I feel he is a bit slow in pace against a fast attacker. At worst he will be able to find us a first class florist, do like a nice tulip

If memory serves, Demichelis was poor when he initially arrived- understandably, given how late he came- but he was actually rather good in the latter part of his first season.
 
Cme on Tyiki, pull this one up. It's some time we haven't beaten anyone for some big signing.

I thought he was great,who could forget him running across the pitch with the prem trophy lol,that is what i am saying though,players can take time to settle
 
I hope atleast city have made de ligt and his agent aware that week are interested....coz I see rags , Juve and Bayern linked with him apart from the obvious Barca . Not much mention of us
 
Saying we are worried about how he may settle in to the PL, reminds me of the United statement, that they were worried he was going to get fat!

For his age he has the perfect build, skills and abilities for the PL. He looks an ideal potential captain for almost all PL teams.

Maybe he's unsure about Pep's vision, or concerned about the negative publicity about our club? We cant get all the best players, I hope he doesn't end up at a PL rival.
 
Do we have any Raiola clients? Not sure Pep and Chicky would be too keen to deal with him. Ah, I see Sandler is a Raiola client.
 
Seems pretty clear that other teams - may or may not include us are joining a race that now seems far from over. This does look like one of those deals that’ll look expensive when it gets done and a bargain in a few years time. Love is to get him - Tebas will have a cardiac arrest!
