Italian custodian on City radar
08:55, October 19, 2012
Manchester City have watched Genoa's teenage goalkeeper Mattia Perrin 'carefully', according to his agent Matteo Roggi.

The 19-year-old, who was included in the Italy squad for the friendly against England in August, is currently plying his trade with Pescara on a season-long loan deal which is allowing him to cut his teeth at playing regular first-team football in Serie A for the newly-promoted side.
And, as a result of him being on the big stage, Perrin's performances have already alerted several clubs to his capabilities with speculation suggesting a bid for the player could be imminent.
However, while Roggi has confirmed interest from the likes of AC Milan and City, he claims Perrin is not thinking about moving to a new club at this stage in his young career.
"Are AC Milan interested in him?" Roggi told tuttomercatoweb.com. "They are not the only club which follows Mattia because there are not many 19-year-old goalkeepers with his qualities.
"In the Premier League, for example, there is Manchester City, which has watched him carefully.
"The issue, however, is premature. At the end of the season he will return to Genoa, with whom he has a contract until 2015, and we will do the evaluations.
"Currently, the player is only thinking about playing, it's not the time to think about the future."

With the way this club seeks out young goalkeepers you'd think we had a 85 year old Andorran international as our number 1.
