Maximo Perrone to Como | Romano reports fee of €13m agreed

was this a red herring? I think this would have been made official by now. very much doubt we would get 25m either. expect another loan to be fair.

Loan him out for another year and bring him back , no?

even if it falls through at Como, would assume we'll get a similar fee from someone else.

He is already loaned out for next season but is dropping hints that he does not want to play for us.
Can we sell him to another club if he is on loan?
Yeah I thought loaning him out again and then to sell him but I guess the club wants all 6 slots free because of Girona

Sold now to Como.
I thought he'd go for more than what we have supposedly got.
I suppose it’s down to this players out on loan limit, and our wish to keep the 6 players out as players who we reckon can make it back at City. Assume the decision was made that Perrone wasn’t one and consequently the Como deal was an easy one to do and they were in a powerful position to negotiate. We’ve got bigger fish to fry and Viana has enough to deal with so we took an easy route.

I guess the initial £25m fee that was touted always seemed a bit optimistic, given that their previous record signing was £15m. Serie A isn't exactly awash with cash, especially a club like Como. Hopefully we've got a decent buy-back/sell-on clause.

Cant help but think he could have done a job last season in the 6 for us. Seems like the a decent back up option for us but never got a chance. Reminds me a bit of Alex Garcia another player i thought we let go too soon when we had little to no cover in the holding role.

Oh well, 13m better than nothing, is there any profit there? Cant remember how much we paid for him
