Maximo Perrone to Como | Romano reports fee of €13m agreed

If Venezia is Venice, where do they play their home games?
Waterlogged pitch could be a problem?

The Stadio Pierluigi Penzo is on a small 'island' literally on the edge of the lagoon. It's only about 12,000 capacity but it's location makes it quite cool. Weirdly, despite the regular aqua alta, the ground itself doesn't really flood. Someone did explain to me why less flood water gets trapped there than in central areas but I can't remember why.

Why are people hyping the player. He never performed outstanding out on loan. Never got the sniffs in the first eleven. Only was part of the training for our squad. What we are getting is fair enough.

He was very good for Como last season. He has lots of potential and strong rumours Inter and other clubs were looking at him. He also broke into the Argentina national squad. 13m wouldn’t get you a championship midfielder. As others have said, hopefully we have a buy back option and hefty sell on clause.

Just feel we should have got even more seeing as they got a try before you buy. Mind you don’t know whatthe loan fee was last season

Possibly but with those elements, we are essentially asking Como to pay us for the privilege of developing a player so that we can either get them back or profit on in the future. Can't imagine the buyback will be high and if Fabregas stays at Como, he'll develop well under a manager we are apparently keeping an eye on.

You are most likely right I am just being greedy

30% sell on and buy back explains the low fee. Not bad
Does it? Just taking the £25m reported figure at the start of summer, for us to get up to that fee in total, assuming it was a flat sell on clause and not a percentage of profit, He'd need to be sold for £40m just for us to reach that £25m.

Back buy clause is pointless, hes not club trained so there's no benefit there, at the age of 22 has he shown anything to suggest he'd ever be at our level? If he had, surely he wouldn't be going to como for £13m.

Conversely, bought for €11m, had 2 years of loan fees, sold for a small profit with potentially more profit in future. If he excels, we either get a % of a fee or the opportunity to have him back: if he doesn't, we've still already made a small profit.

He has had 2 excellent seasons on loan if it was Chelsea o Red Scouse player other clubs would quoted twice that.

Im okay with these 30% selling and buy backs.

Especially for his age profile.

Yes the fee is cheap, but it feels likely he gets some move in the future for more money, so that 30% will go some ways.

Or maybe we want him back for cheap and sold for cheap as development of sorts.
