Wouldn’t it be wonderful if City has something to celebrate on this date of the atrocity last year in our fine city, namely 3 days after the FA Cup final, maybe a treble trophy success to unite many Manchester people in coming together to show we are all defiant against terrorism and we are stronger because of it,also remembering the victims of this awful crime, more importantly.

i think its not good to combine the two, one is about remembrance the other will be celebration. Although both have Manchester at heart, like yourself.

So, No, to answer your question.

Perhaps we can have snipenose Linguard given us his rendition of a Rag nursery rhyme to mark the occasion , so the Rags can celebrate their top four finish as well.

Football is not and should never be a vehicle for public grief.

    Its getting ridiculous.

You'll be as welcome on Merseyside as a fart in a phone box.

As many have said, both are not linked in any way.

Would be great to have something to celebrate regardless of the terror attack. And they will be remembered regardless of whether City win the league or not.

    Agreed.

Leave this stuff to the dippers.

I hear they've asked the PL to play a derby on the anniversary date the car park caught fire.
