Mayhem with MIBs at the game

There are more match going Blues in Stretford than rags. It wasn’t always like that of course but most people who say they support the rags never go to games. There are rags who work for Trafford Council from Salford, in my experience.
Agree with that. Metro’s in Stretford have both red and blues that go from the club, and many more match going blues than reds

I have noticed this with the younger ones. My daughter said to me a few weeks ago the grandson is getting really interested in City and she will try to take him next time there is a "cheap" game.
Just made me think it's a shame people view it as impossible to get to a regular game with kids.
Would be nice if the club could offer a few cheaper tickets at least a bit more often, would be good forward thinking.
Same here.
Daughter his taking one of the grandson's to his first game, Bruges.
I'm praying we beat PSG first for him

Good stuff. Yes I think City dropped clanger when they reversed the decision to have very cheap
Junior tickets for Fulham and Palace at home etc, a few years ago. I know City have restricted prices again for juniors for some fixtures after getting a negative response to price hikes.

Absolute bollocks mate.

Lived in Trafford all my life, worked for the Council for over 25 years, just as many Blues in the South of the Borough as Rags and is the same working for them too.
Fair enough. I am going back 15 or 20 years and I came accross loads more rag shirts and people saying they were united fans back then. Probably due to them still being in the glory years. Likely a lot were casual fans who are more embarrassed now.

Maybe I should've said 'loads of blues'. I was really making the point that on BM people from the other side of the City seem to think of Trafford and, especially Salford, as completely rag areas. But there's blues there too.

It's probably been looked in more depth than I have done but maybe a family ballot for a few thousand cheaper tickets every couple of months. I've found the family don't like dear admission but will go in the shop so the club wouldn't lose much anyway.

When i first starting going as a very young kid circa 1968 my grandad or dad lifted me up and carried me through with
him and always said " future supporter " ,they probably did that till they could feasibly get away with it, even though by todays prices it was peanuts anyhow .I know you can still take an under 5 in free now too.

It really does sadden me how many people just can't afford the high cost of prem tickets.Me and my lad are very lucky with our cheap ss3 season tickets.
