125 theme but this time hope mill theatre

That’s a play by my friend, the excellent Bill Cronshaw and I’d encourage Blues to attend that too.

My show on 11th April 2019, the closest Thursday to the club’s actual formation meeting (held on 12th April 1894), is in two halves. The first focuses on the origins of the club with the latest research being presented through to the first major trophy success and the incredible scenes that surrounded it. The second half focuses on supporters - chants, attendances, bananas, Maine Rd and so much more. It’s a celebration of both City and Supporters timed to coincide with the 125th anniversary. The venue capacity is about 400 and around half the tickets have already gone, so if you want to attend reserve your ticket ASAP. Tickets are £9.50 and there are concessions too, plus a discount for OSC members. See https://www.thedancehouse.co.uk/events/2019/228-mcfc-125 for details of the discounts and to book.

Tickets going quickly for 11 April. It’s a one-off event and won’t be repeated https://www.thedancehouse.co.uk/events/2019/228-mcfc-125

MCFC 125Celebrating the birth & first successes of Manchester City
This event has been established by the MCFC Official Supporters Club to celebrate the 125th anniversary of Manchester City - born in April 1894.

In the first half Dr Gary James will take us on a journey through the birth of Manchester City and on to the club's first success, the 1904 FA Cup. He'll talk about the key moments (such as the 1904 homecoming that made Manchester a footballing city) and the personalities that established the club (including Joshua Parlby – the visionary who established City).

Gary will also celebrate the contribution supporters have made to the club's development focusing on the moments and songs that helped establish City's cultural DNA.

Now that we know the CL games there’s no clash so a brief reminder that tickets are available for the show: https://dancehouse.ticketline.co.uk...er-the-dancehouse-theatre-2019-04-11-19-30-00. I hope to see a few Blues there. Cheers
