MCFC STATS

Just wondering after reading jrb's thread and the thread where City fans were asking for certain things again like choosing their own seat option made me wonder what happened to the MCFC STATS website? I believe it was run privately by a City fan and wonder why the club haven't taken this chance to either arrange to pay for the update of the old site (with reference to the chap who started it) or even start the clubs own official results website.
All the info is on the rags website for every match they played including team, result, crowd etc etc. It would be a great reference tool and prove to other fans we did have a history after all.

I'm in the process of completing my own stat site, which as well as giving all the stats, also includes loads of pictures, season reviews and match repotrs etc...
I'm about a third of the way there so far with stats from 1968/69 to date, hopefully will have all from 1900 within a year, it's a big job so if anyone wants to contribute anything, match memories, report etc... it would be much appreciated, there is a contact address on the site at http://www.citytilidie.com/index.php?option=com_frontpage&Itemid=1 or you can pm me, Would be really interested on your thoughts on the site.

the guy who set up mcfc stats died, thats why it stopped being updated

I heard that tbh and thought that's why it might be a good idea to get assistance from City (if poss) to start it back up again.

Recently I was searching the internet for details on my first ever City game, which I think was a friendly or testimonial in 1972 and found nothing.
A section on the Club website with all competitive game stats would be absolutely brilliant, it would be a mammoth task for any individual to organise and run.

you may want to check this site out and download this years prem as it contains a full history page and loads of stats including every years league postions results etc
