Media bias against City

After yesterday's match I'm sure the media will be foaming at the mouth in anticipation of us going to west brom and getting turned over(of course this could happen as no one has a Devine right to win any game)but if we smash west brom the silence will be deafening....

Bollocks. We won the league then came second.

Last season Barca destroyed us at the Etihad using tackling back allied to their natural talent.
The season before Barca did not play that way.

I may be wrong as you suggest but frankly I worry that the other teams in the PL may also change their style of play to one we seem unable to cope with.
In other words we may be changing some players but perhaps we should also change our off the ball tactics for all players if we want to maintain the PL positions you mention.

For the first time in years, I tuned in to talkshite yesterday. Jason cunty was talking about guardiola. Apparently, if united offered him the job, we wouldn't even get a look in. If someone has a straight choice of us and them, we lose out. I seem to remember shaky bob saying the same thing about Nasri.
Then that bird piped up with some shit about pep might choose a year off rather than come to City and what a terrible kick in the teeth it would be for us.
Oh and di maria is a fantastic player but joined in a period of transition, so it's nobody's fault.
And Sterling should be a game changer for £49m but he isn't. They went on to say his passing isn't good, his finishing isn't either and he's inconsistent .
Just a quick report to save anyone else being tempted to tune in .
They know their audience. Tabloid reading rags who put their papers down on the table and puff out a sigh of relief that they are not in fact shit and a team of vastly over priced players they are simply in transition or misinterpreted or a misalignment of philosophies or other such bollocks that soothes their aching brains.

Used to laugh at the paranoia on here...some of you are still very very laughable....but it does become more and more evident each day. Today I saw the back of the Mirror...no I wouldn't buy it....and there was a massive back page story about a defeat to Stuttgart....a little bit more exposure than that that was given to those cunts getting beat off PSG. Apparently Pellers is under scrutiny for his job.......off whom? them? yes. us...no. just ignore the fucks. they are absolute wankers disguised as professional writers. I write better columns on the toilet every morning.

Well Glen Hoddle isn;t a journalist. He's an ex player. He has an opinion. That's what he writes about. His opinion. Opinion and story aint the same. this is why half of the clowns on here are clowns

The other half are beyond help

If you honestly believe that Glenn Hoddle isn't being given direction from the paper/media group paying him as to what they'd like him to write about then you're the one beyond help.

Oh yeah, and when someone's opinion is put into print, that kinda makes it a story. Not that I, or anyone else for that matter, knows what the fuck you're on about when you say "opinion and story ain't the same". Even if they weren't, which is sometimes true, so what? What has that got to do with anything that was previously posted?

Whilst I agree there is a bias against City we don't help ourselves sometimes, being 4-0 down against Stuttgart at half time is an open goal for some of them reporters.

This pre season has been abit of a shambles.

Rubbish. That would mean them reporting on a fooftball match.
It's not about the criticism of how we are playing. We all do that.
It's about the constant sniping and sometimes downright ridiculing of the Club.

The irony of the Hoddle piece is that he is criticising Sterling for moving to City too soon and says he should have stayed at Liverpool. Hoddle was a very talented footballer who totally underachieved in his career. The main reasons for this were that he made the wrong career choice to stay at Spurs too long and he was lazy on the field.

Commentary during today's charity shield match.
On discussing Arsenals ability to compete for the premier league, the BT Sport commentator says he can see them being able to compete with the likes of Chelsea and..... Yes you guessed it - man utd.

Forgive me for my ignorance but where the fuck gave utd been finishing in the years since Arsenal last won a league? We've been way ahead of them in recent years so if Arsenal have to compete with anyone to win the league yes its Chelsea but also City.

Matty, shut up trying to be perfect. You bore the fuck out of me when you do this....please don't misunderstand this, i think you're cool and i've been dancing with you when city score on the north stand when helen turner let me drop off her at home in hardwick and i carried on through manchester x
