Media bias against City

Always remembering that the Hartlepool player Potter, despite being unconscious on a stretcher, was also sent off for attempting to take Tueart's leg off at the knee which prompted the headbutt. If he'd made contact with his knee Tueart's career would have been over. I'll always remember the Hartlepool substitute getting ready to come and being waved away by the ref. Potter may well be the only player ever to have been sent off while unconscious.

great piece of background info there..i was aware of the Tueart sending off but not the rest.cheers for posting!

Anyone just see the fantasy football club on sky sports 1?

Stuart Pearce was on it choosing his 11 and he chose all England players....Except Ali Benarbia in the no10 role

The main story on the BBC home page is still about how the Chinese are divided about yesterday's visit. They clearly recognise how much good publicity we achieved from it and are in damage limitation mode on behalf of their Raggy paymasters.
I think the comment " He would have preferred a selfie with Wayne Rooney than Sergio Aguero " covered that.

So, despite us winning 6 of the last 8 derbies and scoring 21 goals to their 10 (more than double),

The Sky Facebook sponsored video I have just watched "is Manchester red or blue" features 5 United derby goals to City's 3. In fact it's only 2 as they don't show Balotelli's, just the celebration.

This is outright bias, there is no other way to look at this and no clearer evidence of an agenda.

True, I don't think there's much doubt to the question "is Sky red or blue?"

This paragraph should be circulated to all the anti-City media cockroaches and repeated ad nauseam so that thick in denial rags finally get the picture.

When the two sides faced each other across a variety of age groups last month, United lost every fixture apart from one, which was drawn, including a 9-0 defeat in the under-14s that led to conversation high up at the club, apparently involving Ferguson. City’s under-13s and under-10s are currently the national champions. Their under‑15s began the season by scoring six goals against Liverpool in 40 minutes and the under-16s have won their first 10 games, accumulating 57 goals in the process (including 10 against Middlesbrough and nine against Sunderland in successive weeks). It is taking time but that village-sized training complex off Alan Turing Way is shaping up to become the production line of all productions lines. Already, the club have 26 youth internationals, aged 16 to 19, on their books. Fourteen of them play for England and 66% of their academy players come from Manchester.

id love to see a championship winning City team with a few local lads in it, i thought those days were pretty much dead and gone but it seems they might return :)
