Me too. I now tend to only have a couple at most before a match, as I want to remember every minute of the game. Alcohol was the necessary anaesthetic for a good few years.

Including a senior editor from a "non-privileged" ethnic group who wrote in the guardian that that only white people can be racist and "of course ALL white people are racist"

Very informative for my brown skinned wife (whose best friend is black, incidentally) and friend who have both enjoyed multiple non-racist interactions with people who are by definition not racist.

Five of my cousins are black or mixed race and not one of them has any time for that sort of shit.

Disastrous appointment. The reputation of the Foreign Office has fallen even lower than it was when Boris was there. Hedges is clearly a security analyst, not an academic, and was probably hawking round sensitive market research to arms manufacturers and dealers. Durham University also have a lot of serious questions to answer about his bogus doctoral thesis.
