I guess it's down to mindset but I see lots of positivity about City all over the place.

There are people complaining of too many articles about united in the DM (for instance) and yet every single one of them is negative. I dare say there's an equivalent media thread over at squawk café complaining of media bias.

In fact there's one just above that thinks a link to a loss for the united youth team being shown on City's BBC homepage is an example of bias rather than ineptitude. Again a negative story about them, which as far as I'm concerned is a good thing. Long may it continue.

There's too many people who go out of their way looking for imagined insults, try looking for the stated positives. Your mental health will benefit.
I mentioned the great match report the DM did for the derby but it seems nobody in this thread wants to know about a positive City write-up

you should link it ,some of the stuff posted on here about the bias is so flimsy you could spit through it, but its been like that for years,@franksinatra used to point it out and i pretty much agreed with him every time, some people are too thin skinned, i get united get a lot of good press, it gets clicks , we dont get as much and some of it is pretty shite, but to tell you the truth i only read the press when its been put on here, but i agree ,some people actually go out of their way to find"the bias"

Buts let be honest, you don't need to go very far do you?

I've listened to quote a few podcasts and not one of them has mentioned anything about two of the finest team goals you will see this season.

Rashford didn’t feed the nations hungry school kids, that was his PR team seeing a window of opportunity and it was all done by appealing to different organisations and the general public, unfortunately rashford isn’t the brightest star in the sky and it was his media profile which was used so well done for that, but let’s not think he single handily done all this cause that’s pure bollocks ..

That’s complete b*llocks. Either you’re a tory mp or a rich person who doesn’t understand the word empathy. Which one is it? Or maybe you’re a rag cos every blue i know actually wants everyone else to do well, because we know the better society is, the better for everyone.
I’m a blue and I believe that children are our future.

Teach them well and let them lead the way.

Show them all the beauty they possess inside

They were excellent goals but the "quality" of the opposition has to be kept in mind.
I'd be interested to see better team goals off any other team this season. The rags were putrid, but you could bet Liverpool hoofing balls up to Salah and scoring would have the media in raptures, no matter what the opposition.

Rashford's PR team basically first piggy backed on an existing Co-op Fareshare scheme, and then high-jacked it as if it was all Rashfords own doing.
That being said, his involvement probably raised approx 10x the initial target.

Yip,i agree with that they used his media profile which I haven’t a problem with just the way it’s reported as if individually he toiled and pushed to get the kids feed ..

Except when his car crashed into a lampost the other evening ; )

Ash yes, I remember reading about this in one of the books that St. Marcus managed to procure in our local library...
