Manchester City’s tactical fouling has evolved – and it might win them the title-The Athletic

......proceeds to show this graphic in the article. Comical. View attachment 97597
What this stat doesn't show is that we are way more harshly treated by officials than any other club. You only have to see the possession stats for games. We end up with about 70% possession in a game and, according to the officials, we have committed 70% of the fouls. How is that possible if we have had the ball for 3/4 of a game !!!

Just enjoyed watching Clive Myrie on Saturday Kitchen.
Chef Bryn Williams was attempting to take the piss out of him for being a City fan from Bolton. Clive's response was "Well you're a Liverpool fan from North Wales. That's nowhere near!"
That was great wasn’t it? He’s doing City the glory years as his Specialist Subject!! That was another little dig. I don’t usually watch SK but was flicking through channels and saw Clive so watched it. He’s got a great sense of humour.

I'd definitely recommend Clive's memoir. It's a bit dark in places as you'd expect, but very informative and thought provoking.

Rashford's PR team basically first piggy backed on an existing Co-op Fareshare scheme, and then high-jacked it as if it was all Rashfords own doing.
That being said, his involvement probably raised approx 10x the initial target.
Aha but he’s in trouble with Ten Bob note for celebrating his birthday the day they got comprehensively beaten by the BEST TEAM IN THE LAND AND ALL THE WORLD.

Aww poor lad can’t even celebrate his birthday!! :-) :-)

Just read on BBC football that MadDog thinks Pep should just fuck off down the tunnel at FT. He thinks that staying on the pitch and talking to players is showboating. I think that Roy Keane is well and truly fucked off with last week's result and performance more like!
I think he meant he just wished Pep and the team had disappeared back down it before kick off.

I agree, pep is showboating. Take it.

I'm gonna suggest to Mrs Ewing that she shoves her birthday one day forward or one day back so that she doesn't share it with the lad!

On 5 Lives 606 last Sunday our old friend Paul Nolan phones in,seems he's changed his name and now calls himself Micky. He was introduced by Savage as Micky the Man City fan( Micky) then tells us that he doesn't want City to win the Prem he would prefer Spurs to win it and City should concentrate on Chumps League. After this he tells Sutton that he was at Elland Road when Leeds played Norwich and Sutton was playing. Was great back in the day, Stannage used to take the piss as Nolan would change the team he supported on a weekly basis, nice to hear you again Paul.

I'm pretty sure that their news isn't 'unspun' - just like their football coverage.
It's so pro Tory you would not believe, Bruce, Kuennsberg and that annoying little shite with glasses, Chris whatisname, etc, not to mention the DG ex Tory. Clearly getting orders from above !

I would say it's pro something else, something that cannot be said.

I’ve just watched today’s Football Focus with the interview with John Stones. You could tell that Alex Scott wasn’t the presenter today!!
The interview with John Stones was excellent although Leon Osman did seem to concentrate a little bit longer on his Everton days but JB came over extremely well (yes I know I would say that wouldn’t I but if you don’t believe me watch it on iPlayer) he was articulate and thoughtful with his answers.
After the interview the presenter, Ellen White and Glenn Murray along with Simon Brotherton and Keith Curle we’re all very complimentary about JB!

JB’s touch map for last week was unbelievable.

Hope I’ve not gone OTT but it was excellent and not expected. Saving this FF video! :-)
