Media discussion - 2025/26

You know when Crystal Palace won the FA Cup in rather dubious circumstances this year...the pundits or idiots as I call them said it was good for football. Well, I say that Arsenal getting beaten today by Aston Villa who have had to sell their best players to comply with red cartel rules is good for football. And, Leeds getting a late equaliser against cry baby Liverpool who have spent half a billion euros this year is also good for football. I am assuming none of the media outlets are saying this though.
Excellent

Can Man City win the league?

Absolutely not, says drug and booze addled Paul Merson, Arsenal are far superior in all departments.

Just say no.
His face was like a slapped kipper at 5pm. Fair to say he hasn't taken this afternoons results very well....

Chapeau.

It looks like the Premier League have a title race on at last.
But the dippers being the dippers want to make it all about themselves in the media, good or bad.

Still not a single report or article in the Daily Mail about City’s win against high flying Sunderland, taking City to 2nd, 2 points behind Arsenal in the table. Nothing. Absolutely nothing.
Well, as a Blue I’d expect that you would no longer buy the paper or click on any more of their clickbait.
