Absolutely fantastic, coherent, well written post mate agree with everything you say and you put better than I could in a million years , hughes did have a chance but did not/ could not make it work, the top four was becoming a pipe dream, too many draws when we should have won, puzzling team selections, the team Hughes put out on Weds. night was unfathomable and got drubbed.
It wasn't getting any better, they could not see steady improvement, we were as unpredictable as ever, players started looking disinterested and short of confidence and motivation, he just blew it lads.

Don't be so negative - this is a cracking post.

I don't agree with some of the points you make - and it smacks of being a bit of a "company man" rant in places. But you make some great points - not least of which the owners cannot be criticised for giving Mark Hughes total and utter backing during his term.

But the sacking was a fuck-up in terms of how it was handled and someone should be held accountable for that by way of the exit door.

I have? Didn't know I was 'in' let alone 'outed'. For the record I have only ever used this user name. Not because I am a stand up chap or a paragon of virtue or anything like that but because I really, really could not be arsed setting up different usernames :)
