The beauty of Kirkland's reasoning, Sterling tends to come too deep and doesn't look to stretch the play. That's the point you clown. Kane, Alli & Lingard all look to run in behind. Someone needs to play between the lines...
"England manager Gareth Southgate says he is mystified by the debate over Raheem Sterling's position in the side as he returns to face Colombia in the World Cup last 16 meeting"
Also says "I have great belief in him, he has been a really important part of the team,"
Maybe that will shut some fuckers up on here, or is even he wrong??
If he scores the story will be Raheem redeems himself. So sad for him/Nothing will change the opinion of the Sterling haters mate..
Personally I think Raz is underrated by the vast majority of fans, pundits and the media.
Even if Raz scores the winning goal tonight he will still get compared unfavourably to the Wythenshawe Pele..so fuck the media ...fuck the pundits and fuck the haters.
Not sure what you mean about moving goal posts. The England manager has played him consistently, I am assuming it is for footballing reasons, or because he actually adds to the team. I also assume he hasnt succumbed to the bollocks that is reported in the press, regurgitated by the pundits, and then swallowed by gullible haters.Another example of moving the goal posts. If Southgate wasn't playing him tonight it would be "he doesn't have a clue anyway" when he defends him (and rightly so) he is the lord saviour of all knowledge.

People change their minds on here, if Southgate was to drop him then his opinion doesn't matter because it doesn't match theirs. Now he is defending him like he should and his opinion should be the be all and end all. Surprised he hasn't been accused of setting him up to fail with the vote of confidence by all the sensitive souls in here.
I understand the thread, does it need 280 pages of everyone agreeing the media treat him differently? Erm no so it may as well be pulled then. No one knows the reasons and it isn't changing anytime soon so what is the point? Rashford did get criticised. Most notably by Shearer who was in favour of him having a chance ahead of Sterling, that wasn't received well in here because apparently Shearer said it in a certain tone. Crazy talk. Sterling would have got more granted.
Your a strange one Tom, the people who coach Raz consistently rate him. I’ve never heard a single coach criticisize him.
Do you not value anything Sterling does?
