the old their defence is suspect notion, shows they are not interested in how we play, shocking to me we have pep in the prem and all they do is get their claws out for him

How very supercilious
The knee-jerk coffee shop condemning of a young country with relatively recent wealth.
Should give credit for the strides they've made and encourage them further.
Oh jog off. The only thing supercilious and coffee shop is your wank reply.

The only reason you’re ok with adultery and blasphemy being offences worth the death penalty and why you turn a blind eye to the rights of the blue collar workers in the UAE is because you’re a City fan, either that or you’re a non thinking human.

There’s nothing knee jerk about commenting on an area you’ve lived in for six years, your hypocritical moron. What’s your personal experience of the UAE? How long did you live there? Did you not find any cons to go with the obvious pros? I’d also like to hear about the recent “strides they’ve made” as anyone living here would know they are going backwards at present to curry favour with KSA.

It will be interesting to see if Man City go for it tonight. I really hope that Basel go for it, I'd love to see them throw the kitchen sink at it.

City's defence has been known to wobble on occasion.

Good to see the BBC aren’t hiding their allegiance

On the one hand a neutral would say this, to get a good game. But can you imagine this comment being made about the opposition for any other English club in a CL game?

Nope, me neither

I'd like to express my heartfelt sympathies to all in the media after their terrible loss tonight, it's so tragic and unfair that despite all the hard work they put in hyping spurs, Juventus saw through it and knocked the bastards out.

There are very strict rules in place in business about state aid - they don't seem to apply to a state funded broadcaster, actively promoting a couple of businesses and actively denigrating another business in a multi-billion pound industry.

BBC match report

"They led through Gabriel Jesus's opener from Bernardo Silva's cross - his first goal since November."

No follow up on why. Words fail me.
