Not read the Express but the DM write up says we were deserved winners. I think the sub-editor chooses the headline as opposed the journo if memeory serves

The DT sports section - there's a banner piccy at the top but the front page is Edmunds in the Aussie tennis, as is Page 2 and 3, and more tennis on 4 and 5, most of 6 and 7 is given over to those visionaries at Uefa who seemingly want to block the use of VAR in the next CL, and hot off the RDAHMeedya is that Lambert is laying down the law to Stoke players, and a wee snippet about Neville's sexist Twitter posts, and Page 8 is, oooooh, we're 'ere, double spread, and it's not the usual tripe of underdogs not getting their just desserts. No mention of money, just the quality of our players. One interesting point was that the outcome v City depends very much on what the opposition do when they haven't got the ball! But we knew all that anyway.
 
What has the Champions League got to do with us reaching a Final of a cup? Astonishing that they mention Champions League games considering we do not play the Basle home game until early March..... Bitter and twisted

This is the worry - I heard that too. A lot of people do listen to this and it just perpetuates the myth to non-football people or plastic fans of other clubs that we are a second rate club who can't fill the ground.

I’d rather watch the game in a stadium with 4 mancs a tumbleweed and a dog who are passionate about the club, rather than The rags with their peodo looking 50 year old fans who still live with their mums in crap hole town down south or the dippers with their legions of scandanavian fans. Both clubs with fans who are ashamed of where they live so have to bask in reflective but now fading glories.

But this is exactly why ill informed people spout this sh*t about us and empty seats. Slimy w**nkers like these two talking b*llocks. We are in pole position to win 2 trophies already this season and all they can talk about is what amounts to a myth. There's no agenda though.

I will have the 4 Mancs and a dog but the tumbleweed doesn't always support City, it depends on which way the wind is blowing.
