He was arguably our best player before his injury last season. He was outstanding. He played 29 matches last year and I don't think we lost a single one.
5Live news just: Pep's touchline ban mentioned. Dipper's €20,000 fine strangely not mentioned.
It's just relentless isn't it? Talksport and the tabloids have been slaughtering Sterling non-stop for three weeks and now they have started on Stones. The best comment from Bob Mills was: "I am not interested in distribution. I don't want my defenders to pass," backed up by Dean Saunders saying: "The centre half's job is to head the crosses away."
How the hell can these morons retain their jobs. Why is Stones now being targeted? He was arguably our best player before his injury last season. He was outstanding. He played 29 matches last year and I don't think we lost a single one.
Apparently it's a really poor league (always is when we win) our players weren't quite as shit as other teams shit players. It's amazing how we won the league so easily with all these shit players.
You can see why the Yaya story will run, though: let's face it, there have been a lot of stories about race and bullying in football recently, and this story fits in that theme.BBC website does seem strange this morning. I can’t find any report at all about Liverpool’s fine for smashing up the City coach. There is, however, loads of coverage of “Karius had concussion” story ??? Guess no Liverpool player could ever actually make a mistake !!! Oh, and blanket coverage of Yaya being a prize tit
It's not even mentioned on the Liverpool page.BBC website does seem strange this morning. I can’t find any report at all about Liverpool’s fine for smashing up the City coach. Considering it is a sports story relating directly to Liverpool FC, very odd.Main sports page - the headline mentions the fine. On the football pages, the headline doesn't. Bit odd, but it is on the main Sports page.
Apart from them both being FIFA fines, they are completely separate incidents. The Pep headline re his ban ry has the Pool fine after it.
Agreed but I was under the false impression thar it could not be found.Apart from them both being FIFA fines, they are completely separate incidents.
