The MUEN website this Morning.

5 separate United articles at the top of the MUEN homepage. One separate article showing Julia Roberts wearing a Untied shirt. Keeping on scrolling, scrolling, scrolling down and you will eventually come to the first City article.

It's been very clear of the last few months, especially online, that the MUEN's sole Manchester football focus is on United.

It used to be bad. I think we all agree on that. Now it's even worse. Don't know who owns the MUEN, or who the Chief Editor and Sports Editor are, but it's clear they have decided to focus on and push United.

An even sadder day for a once local paper that at least tried to be fair and equal with the news on both of Manchester's football clubs.
Always bought it on a Friday for the city life supplement and weekend football, bought my last one ever last Friday, just trying to mock city over transfer fees while building them rag twats up like they haven't spent a fucking penny

I hope we go and spend another £200m in the next couple of weeks so I can sit back and watch their heads explode with anger (envy)

it's all about supply and demand; the media knows that any article about the rags will gather more clicks and comments than article about city. just look at te numbers of comments to any rag article, even an article about lukaku's underwear will gather about 500 comments. I'm excluding ofc the troll articles about us paying 1000mil for player X.
The media know that they( scum fans) are fodder for the cash cow.

Sly Sports News have just done a piece on Mendy. Showed a few answer and question clips from City TV.

They then did a list of the 8 most expensive defenders. City had 4.

Then they totaled up a possible starting 11 for next season. £100mill's.

Then they compared it to the cost of Brighton's possible starting against us.

Didn't even reach £50mill.

Now, I don't recall Sly Sports News doing that for United or another PL club.

C***'s!

Wouldn't worry about these two mate, One is a Rag and the other a Chelsea Fan. Apart from that why listen to that sh1te station anyway? 90% adverts and 10% utter cr@p

The worst thing that's gonna do is attract more glory hunters to us

The best thing is it really pisses off rags, dips etc

Still maintain there's a racial undertone to alot of the crap the media peddle, along with of course appeasing the hoardes who watch, listen or read the crap..

Daily Fail online now.

Oh! And according to the Daily Fail in another article, Ronaldo tells Neymar to stay at Barcelona unless he signs for United.

YCMIU if you tried. But the Rag loving Daily Fail does on a daily basis.

Yep
Constantly mention citys 'arab' owners, oil money etc.
Never mention rags ' jew' owners though

Nowadays we rarely get NEWS what we get is VIEWS ON NEWS ie opinion.
The media struggles with the digital era, they have seen the FT sold to the Japs despite being 75 percent digital so they sell to their biggest potential subscriber base.

Previously newspapers were politically aligned eg Daily Mail and Telegraph conservative and Daily Herald labour etc..
We could then choose what view of news we identified with.

The modern world has melded them all together so they fight for readership and know inside out where their subscribers reside and from a sport point of view who they support.

Needlless to say we are way down the list regarding sport popularity so when they are fighting for their jobs we must expect negative skewed reporting.
They dont hate us they simply prefer to sell to a bigger readership, nothing personal just market research.

Nicked from @Ric's twitter.

Not an anti-city one this time but it is the Mirror AGAIN with a back page that wouldn't look out of place in a programme at the swamp.
