I am pretty certain there is a considerable amount of anti-Muslim, anti-Arab racism in the minds of many of these low intelligence, football "pundits" and "journalists".

I don't care because we are the Champions, we have the highest points in a season record, we have the most goals scored in a season record, we have won the most games in a season, we have played beautiful football whilst doing all this and I am certain this young team under Lord Pep Guardiola will get better and better...

I think it's just because most journalists and pundits aren't City fans. Some aren't too vindictive because they manage to stay professional or support someone lower league so don't really care, but the majority it seems are rags, scousers or cockney fans who are jealous and bitter.

They'll use anything to try and belittle our achievements, just as I would if I had to write about the rags. I don't believe many of them are anti-Muslim, they just use our owner's nationality to look for anything with a tenuous link to something they perceive as negative. If our owner was German or American or anything else they'd find an aspect from those countries to attack.

What we do really need is another succesful season coupled with an absolutely dire one for the rags. No cup finals for the bastards, and a place outside the top 4 again, they'll slowly lose their relevance. It's about time that shithole club fell on really hard times.

Had the misfortune to watch an hour of ssn yesterday tea time. Rags this, rooney that, a bit of Wenger, overhead kick 4 times and mourinho interview twice and no City. Fucking laughable, and to see why simply look at the 'trending' square in bottom right corner.

The Guardian has an article "10 things to look out for on Sunday".

Item 2 on Southampton includes "with survival set to be confirmed at home to Manchester City..."

That's it as far as City are concerned

We’re like the pupil that is so far ahead at school that all the teachers ignore them and focus just on the struggling kids so they can feel like they are making a difference.

Also, all the teachers are the parents of the struggling kids and are jealous of the highachiever and their parents.

Our record breaking stats this season actually got a big mention on the CNN Sports programme yesterday. They were talking about how good City and Barcelona have been in their respective leagues.

The American media don't seem to have the same agenda as they do over here,it hasn't happened and the 100 pts is not going to happen over here,if a few go big on it tomorrow then i will stand corrected but so far the record breaking the other night hasn't happened

Talkshite do a "Premier league legends" covering the ad breaks on the tune in radio app.

Today is Ronaldo. They list all of his achievements and finish it with."Ronaldo gas openly said he'd love to return to Old Trafford. A dream reds hope will come true..."

Which demographic they aim at then...?

BBC at it again yesterday. Travelling home from New Zealand on Emirates the entertainment centre had the BBC sport, football, section on it. All 3 other games had a brief report, Juve winning Italian Cup, Barca winning and a report on World Cup vandals. Of course I was forgetting, the City game didn’t happen.

I don't think US sports media would allow it to be partisan. I always had the idea that they like people winning and like to praise them.

true,i used to watch ESPN nightly show with the pundits and they seemed fair, drifted away from that this season,i wish the UK would report fair and balanced on every prem team,i don't want special treatment for us but just praise when we do it right and hammered when we get it wrong, the media here are jam packed with rags and dippers that despite being way behind us on the field they brown nose them constantly, they are the 2 history clubs and they are all that matter,it says a lot about our media that they cling on to past glories and the ancient way british footy is played that they give the parking the bus and kicking the shit out of players managers more praise than the innovation of pep, their loss

So do you genuinely think United, Mourinho and his ‘parking the bus’ football has received more praise than Peps City this year?

Beyond belief some of the stuff written on this subject. Some fans are desperate to cling on to ‘lickle city’ and desperate to have something to moan about and play the victim.

Get lost i'm not clinging onto anything, you live on here as is your right i suppose but if you lifted your head you might just learn something
