    Jesus H Christ....

Stumbled upon SSN, barely had the channel on for 2 months but just switched it to 409 by default like I used to, and was met by the presenter claiming, “after the break hear how one of the biggest clubs in the world is making a move for Sergio Aguero”.

So I head to their gossip column whilst the ads are on to find they are quoting from the Daily Star that Inter Milan are keen on Sergio to replace Lautaro if he goes to Barca.

Is that the best these cûnts can dredge up for a headline?

It must be a soul crushing existence being an SSN presenter atm. Like a form of tabloid-fuelled purgatory.

How is it possible to retain that level of enthusiasm for so long?

Why anyone would have SSN or Talksport on anymore is quite beyond me.

I can highly recommend John Harding's brilliant book "Football Wizard" about Billy Meredith.

Meredith's story is incredible in its own right. His playing career in Manchester covered 30 years and much controversy at times but the book also covers his struggles to ensure players were better served by the authorities and the formation of what became the PFA.

If people didn't lap it up they wouldn't do it. Same with shite like Talksport. They make millions out of gullible people. It's just a shame we've got many
