The usual journalists and titles are going to be triumphant now. Time to go into siege mode.
No link. And you’ve got to log in to read his shite. But you can imagine what he's written.
His first visible sentence refers to Manchester City. Not Manchester United. And he goes on.
Where was he at the end of last season when Pep and City won all 4 domestic trophies? That was some folly
Even though Leicester are playing great under Rodgers, what have Leicester won so far this season? Let's see where Leicester end up this season with their paper thin squad? Let’s see how many trophies Leicester win? Let’s see how much money Leicester and Rodgers spend next Summer on players if Leicester remain in the top 4 and get a CL place?
Eamonn Sweeney: 'Leicester's title hopefuls mock folly of big spenders'
Presumably laughing at all those clubs who have spent fortunes and haven't produced the greatest side British football has ever seen, smashed every historical record going and swept every domestic trophy before them.
Haven’t read it but I’m sure it mentions back to back titles, record number of points won, clean sweep of the domestic trophies, highest goals scored. Also one of the best run clubs in the world with one the most successful managers in history.
And surely it mentions the vast amount of money spent and record transfer fees set by rival clubs since 1992?
If not then Eamonn needs a reminder.
You must be referring to Liverpool?
Come the end of the season, if it carries on like it has, he will use those exact words and more to describe Liverpool.
His reply will be.
20x’s for United. Ole playing the kids. The United way.
A 6th European Cup for Liverpool via a Klopp net transfer spend.
I know is the DM but it would hard not to think the players are getting pissed of with VAR
That will be music to PGMOL’s ears and motivation for them to keep going as they are. They’ll sense that they can break us, if they haven’t already.
Talksport this morning the boiled Bollock being his usual self but Ian Holloway was fuming about var and saying we had been turned over by it time and time again, they got some sun reporter on and I have forgotten his name now but Holloway put it to him that liverpool had had a good helping hand this season and city had not, I thought he was sat next to me in the van the volume of his reply went up ten fold as he sputtered not so not so while producing 3 examples of var not helping them, man utd goal crystal palace and one other, Holloway was still not having it in all fairness lol
Mentioned this only yesterday that it wouldn’t surprise me if this shit was getting to the players, judging from that, it seems it is .
