And the MotS - Moyes, Bodgers, Bielsa, Ollie and Pep. I bet they will tell us that pluck trumps achievement! I suppose Kaiser Tuchel is excluded 'cos Super Frank did the donkey work.I was just reading on Sly sports now the contenders for goal of the season.
They've gone from 10 entries now down to 9.
Purposely leaving out Torres goal vs Newcastle.
They'll say it was a mistake or they just forgot.
Bollocks, blatant bitterness from Red loving Sly bastards
No , we seem to have players who can churn it out over a long hard season but maybe not quite step up when needing to in big one off games. Can think of a few games this season.Exactly we support the club. Pep I believe has our best interests at heart even if he can drop a bollock like the final. I wish I had the same faith in the players. Zab, Komps, silva, Yaya would not have surrendered at the first sigh of trouble.
I thought Foden"s goal away at Liverpool was brilliant, great build up play, loads of passes to work him in, great footwork, blistering finish but just air brushed away like it never happened. Got to be a reason for that!Has there ever been a better goal ? I bet they sneak in Rooneys shinned goal against us just to twist the knife more.
I'll go for the latterThis is correct but in the absence of actual news they still need to have content on their site so they produce conjecture* and pass it off as being equal value to real news.
*Some call it conjecture. Others call it bollocks.
They called him 'Mad Pat' as a term of endearment . Ffs....He’s a proper sad try-hard, Evra, isn’t he? A man of low class, zero dignity and a non-existent moral compass. No wonder he is a #TopRed hero

The 'Gordon' in 'Jimmy Grimble?Agree with this... good post. I’d add that the present hacks also have an irrational and wholly unjustified sense of self importance (hugely bloated egos - Simon dickhead Stone being a case in point) - they think they are something special because a few managers and players know who they are without having the emotional intelligence to know they are tolerated in public and despised in private. They think they are the popular kid in the playground but really they are the kid everyone laughs at behind their back.
Same shit, different paper. The Athletic as you say - had an opportunity but they hired from the present cesspit of journalists who largely work in the print media. That group have no concept of objectivity... almost to a one they have nailed their colours to a team, taken the shilling and are embedded into a certain club and do as they are told. So many journalist tow the party line at Liverpool or United - in return for the odd snippet they print page after page of club propaganda. You are correct about a race to the bottom but that lot have been mining for years - they’ve plunged so low. Quite why anyone would part with cash to read the Athletic is beyond me - maybe a first time to see what it’s like - but once you experience the usual partisan, bitter crap you’d come to your senses and not bother. I can’t see a future for the Athletic because it offers nothing different.
