Yes you think somebody being paid to do a job could at least get their facts right.

Dive, what dive?
Roy Keanes comments for anyone who hasnt seen it, and for anyone who wants to watch it again
The more I think about it the more I think he hits the nail on the head on so many points
Yes you think somebody being paid to do a job could at least get their facts right.
Seems people associate with liverpool arent very good with numbers , be it manager or ex players
Repeat it enough it becomes the truthYes you think somebody being paid to do a job could at least get their facts right.
Causally falsely giving them an English record without batting an eye lid.We finished 25-30 points behind Liverpool last season according to Carragher
Tell them to fuck offRedcafe was nice with the Foden goal went in, they were City fans in that game!
I know I'm a Sad Old Git who clearly has far too much time on his hands but..
In the past few days I've heard the odd reference in the media to us equalling the record of 14 consecutive victories held by Preston North End (season 1891-92) and Arsenal (season 1987-88). None of it with the pomp and circumstance that certain teams which play in red might have received had they done the same but mentions none the least, so I'll take that, ta very much.
However, it got me thinking (always a dangerous pastime for me). I looked up the records for both Preston and Arsenal and compared to the current run City is on:
Preston (1891-92 season)
- 14 wins between 24 October 1891 and January 30 1892
- that's 99 days inclusive, therefore 1 game every 7.1 days
Arsenal (1987-88 season)
- 14 wins between 12 September and 11 November 1987
- that's 61 days inclusive, therefore 1 game every 4.4 days
City this season
- 14 wins between 19 December 2020 and 7 February 2021
- that's 52 days inclusive, therefore 1 game every 3.7 days
We all know how undervalued City's recent achievements have been, particularly by our sports media. But this latest achievement, given the lack of a proper rest for our squad, the lack of pre-season and the injuries we've had all through the season, is some bloody achievement.
If we are fortunate enough to win at Swansea in the FA Cup on Wednesday, that will be 15 games in 55 days or 1 game every 3.6 days. I'll say it again.. that would be some bloody achievement.
Now, I'm not intending any slight on either Preston and Arsenal for what they achieved but I don't think either had to put up with the pressures City has faced during this recent spell, from the intensity of the games nowadays (let's face it, Preston played at a time when an injury was treated by the Sponge Man ambling on the pitch to offer the injured party a couple of draws on his Woodbine and a belt of rum from his hip-flask) to the multiple problems that the pandemic has brought to game preparation.
However, I doubt that we'll get anything from the media in general other than the equivalent of an 'Oh by the way, City won again last night at Swansea in the FA Cup taking their winning run to 15 games. Now, here's the Racing tips..' But you never know..
Oh and by the way, Herr Klopp, our recent run didn't include two weeks off for a holiday..
Spits at a kids is full of erm spit tonight. I tuned into sky expecting a scathing analysis of the Liverpool game. All I heard from Coleman & Jamie was a long list of excuses. Blah blah blah blah blah. As Keane the twat said yesterday. All teams have to deal with injured players, burnout and a pandemic. Pathetic coverage from the bastion of truth.18, still an exaggeration though.
He won't fit in at the club as he won't fit through the doors, have you seen the size of him...he's huge.....
ThisTell them to fuck off
The glory hunting, prawn sandwich, mick Hucknall, jellied eel cockney cunts
That’s interesting, so a 35-40 point swing in 22 games? Surely Klopp out?Breaking News:
City were 30 points behind Liverpool last season, I bet no one knew that.
I know because Spitty has just told everyone on MNF.
For the record I think it was 9
We finished 25-30 points behind Liverpool last season according to Carragher
See I knew us playing our home games at an empty stadium would benefit us one day. We knew what we were doing.
waiting for the story it was City fans eating bats in Wuhan.....
I think they had 4, wasn’t Gundogan in the team as well? The pre-match BBC "Combined 11" had only 3 City players, KdB, Kun & Ruben. And two of those didn't play!
I think they had 4, wasn’t Gundogan in the team as well?
And City fans have better things to do with their time than voting in stupid BBC polls.Gundog was in the team too yeah. KDB, Gunodgan and henderson in the midfield.
To be fair this was voted for by fans. So it shows you that the Livepool players are very over hyped.
