She made an excellent point about paying a lot for young players in relation to possibly paying 100m for Harland. We paid 37m for Sergio in 2011. Divide that fee by the years we’ve had him, factor in the results he has given us, and it’s possibly the best piece of transfer business ever done by any team anywhere.

There was a discussion in the sky studios with carragher and the tone was city need the champions league to be a great team.
