How do complete cock spanners like Keown get a job as a pundit with no twatting knowledge of the game they are talking about.

Kewon on City vs Chelsea Champions League check out around 1:45 onwards.

It's the comments about the pitch at Wembley and City maybe not wanting to play there due to it's size and to keep the game at the Ataturk Stadium

Wembley pitch dimensions 105 m × 68 m
Ataturk pitch dimensions 105 x 68 m
Keown is one of the last remaining Neanderthal species to be walking the earth, take what he says with a ‘pinch of salt’ bitter caveman talk usually goes down well with the gutter press, especially to discredit City.

Sky sports page 6 stories on Sergio missing that penalty the arseholes
Funny thing is he's now 3 out of 4 taking one like that which is better than our conversion record this season, last season etc.

It's not how I'd have taken it but there's been no credit to the keeper, he did really well to get back up.

Finally,I've kept away from some threads as I can well imagine toxic fanny wipes having pops at Kun all over the place. If ever a man had a credit in the bank it's Kun.

It's perfectly legitimate way to take a penalty. If Stuart Pearce had done so in 1990 (not that he had the skillset) then England might have made the World Cup Final. Blasting it down the middle sometimes means a diving keeper hasn't moved far enough one way or the other to get out of the way.

His previous record with City taking a penalty like that was 100%; I wonder how many of those posters disrespecting a player whose loyalty to the club is beyond reproach were complaining at any of them.

Some of the responses to Sergio's penalty yesterday were shameful, but sadly predictable. Some of our fanbase have turned into spoilt arseholes, principally the ones who were arseholes in the first place, which gave them a discernible head start.

Agree with a lot of what you say, but that was terrible penalty in the circumstances.

From a player who for over 10 years has been a credit to himself, country and to football , it was a strange one, almost like he wanted to take the piss, take the headlines, if so, it was very unlike him.

He could have had a nap and got back up to be fair :)

It's done now. Sergio is a legend and always will be. This won't define him.

Ah now, come on; I could have got back up and made myself a bacon sarnie and a cup of coffee by the time that ball reached the goal. And the days of me fitting into a medium size shirt are a distant memory.

LOL about to same the same, the keeper never moved, he did not have to, he even caught it one handed.

I think he was genuinely aggrieved at Sterling nicking the ball off him for the first goal just minutes earlier. Just didn't think straight, all he had to do was play the shot that works best now, just inside the post. The rule change about the keeper's foot on the line makes that a better option and the Panenka a terrible one.

Edit: As @Pablo1 said.

He didn't blast it down the middle though did he? He scooped it gently into the keeper's hands. There are ways of taking a penalty - hard into the top or bottom corners - that virtually guarantee scoring if you execute them properly. If you know the keeper always dives then hard down the middle will also work.

But a lot of Aguero's penalties recently have been lazy ones, not hit with adequate power or precision.

Ok it was a bit of a streach but if a keeper moves away they very rarely get back.
True. But eventually, one day, a keeper was going to take a chance on someone going down the middle, and stay where he was. That day arrived yesterday. Now, if Serg had "put his laces through it", he might have scored. But it was horrendous. Now, Kun owes us nothing. 93:20 was, and remains, a "get out of jail free" card for him. But it doesn't exempt him from criticism. It wasn't the time or the place for those sort of tricks. I can only imagine what Pep had to say to him!

It's a fucking good job for Sergio that it wasn't Mancini in the dugout. He'd have needed an ambulance.
