Don't know if anyone has seen the Sunday Times sports pages. It has an article listing teams who have won various doubles. In the part that references teams who have won a domestic and European trophy in the same season it mentions Leeds in 1968, which wasn't strictly true then makes the glaring omission of the first team to achieve it in 1970.

You have. I’m not.
I haven’t, it’s on iplayer, so just had a look. You’ve got your knickers in a twist about Micah saying ‘some people call Man City boring’ he then says ‘they’re outstanding, the way they starve the opposition of the ball’ or words to that effect

Do you really think that’s bang out of order saying that, or did you actually mishear what he said?

This grinds my gears it really does.
No surprise we have no history when it's being re-written all the time.

I've lost count of the number of dippers who've confidently and gloatingly said that City have never won a European trophy and simply won't believe me when I tell them that City won a European trophy (plus the FA Cup and League Cup) before Liverpool ever did. Despite it being a matter of public record with confirmation a few Google clicks away they just won't have it.

You only have history if you did it in the 70s, 80s or 90s it seems
