Lawros predictions with a star I’ve never heard and for the 2nd week it’s a rag. 1-1 lawro and 3-1 the rag star who I’ve never heard of. Am I reading too much into this?

Barney Ronay is a founding member of the City hating WhatsApp group, a relentless proponent of the ‘sportswashing’ myth and a snide dog whistle racist who casually, sneeringly dismissed club owners from the Arabian peninsula as “a row of grinning beards” in print.
I am glad that we have an alternative to media outlets owned by tax dodging far right billionaires like the Sun, Times, Mail and Telegraph but with a few honourable exceptions like Scott Murray, the Guardian’s football desk is a nest of vested interests, confirmation bias and sexual deviants like Nakrani and Glendenning
Lol, I suppose left wing media outlets are owned by workers co-operatives? Don’t push the left and right nonsense. It only furthers the commonly perceived illusion of choice. Vote for Starmer, vote for Boris. Doesn’t matter, you get Corporate government. In this new feudal system, racism (along with misogyny, paedophilia etc) is the preserve of the rich and powerful. If any of us did what Prince Andrew did we’d be in year 4 of a 15 stretch. He just gets annoyed because he doesn’t jet around the world as much. No sign of remorse, apart from remorse at being caught.

I often wonder when the last genuine piece of journalism was that I came across.

Anyone fancy a 12 hour game? If not, fair enough.

I'll post the answers at 10am tomorrow.

No cheating.

1. Guess the paper.
2. Guess the first ex-City player.(perfect timing, 72 hours before the Liverpool match)
3. Guess the second ex-City player.

City had 6 articles. Including the 2 below.
United had 67 articles.

I purposely read this every week simply to see who the "star" is.
Majority (6 out of every 10) are rags from unheard of (in my circle) bands or DJ's. There was one the other week from a London band and of course he is a rag.

It does seem that in any given three week period there will be at least two redshirt fans

BBC at it again regarding Daniel Sturridge moving to Perth Glory

Sturridge spent six and a half seasons at Liverpool, scoring 67 goals in 160 games before a loan move to West Brom for the second half of the 2017-18 season.
He moved to Turkey in the summer of 2019 as a free agent.
His three-year deal with Trabzonspor was terminated the following March as the former Manchester City and Chelsea forward was given a four-month worldwide ban for breaching betting rules.

but when it comes to Andy Morrison quitting Connahs Quay Nomads……..

But the ex-Plymouth Argyle, Huddersfield Town and Blackpool player decided to continue in the role following talks with the club's chairman Gary Dewhurst and with the chance to manage in the Champions League qualifiers for a second time.

Having read both stories, that's all on the sub-editor trying to drive clicks.

The stories are not negative (second one is Angelino praising the atmosphere and the crowd in the RB Leipzig game)

Also at least one of the journalists is a City fan.

Really,

If you are going to go fishing you need better bait

Big match this weekend? Just wondering why they're trying to unsettle Sterling on BBC website.
