We aren’t asking for anyone to be ‘pro City’
We just ask that they are consistent and fair
Don’t read it. The media never was and never will be consistent and fair. Doesn’t matter if it’s the news or sports reporting, the sword of truth is utter bollocks. Exception to that rule is the FT, but it isn’t known for its in depth sports reporting.

The predictable Daily United.

I haven’t read the article. You can imagine what’s been written about City.

Note the highlighted small type in blue ‘Manchester City abstaining’, after the headline states ‘Manchester City voted in favour’. Make up your mind, Hughes, you c*nt!

You can imagine all the predictable comments by tomorrow.

Apparently it’s an exclusive by Matt Hughes. Really?!

Intellectually dishonest and morally bankrupt.
Matt Hughes gets his byline put on stuff that a lot of other people write btw

I'm not too sure Saudia will be serious competition for Emirates if they decide to fly out of Newcastle. IIRC the very first Emirates flight a few years ago from Newcastle to Dubai had been completely drunk dry by the Geordies before they'd even managed to get out of European airspace! Saudia, in contrast, is a dry airline.
Fly out of Newcastle?

Saudi as shirt/ground sponsor.

Let’s be honest, there isn’t 1 tabloid that is pro City. But out of them all, 3 tabloids stand out for me, the Daily Mail, the Guardian, and the Daily Express.

I give you the Daily Express City headline after the 1-5 away win at Bruges in the CL tonight.

The article was 'updated' just a few minutes after the final whistle.
I wonder when the original draft was first done. Hours before? Days before?

The Matt Hughes FOR the Daily Mail byline makes me think he is not on staff. Perhaps a freelance?

He probably realises what a mess he and his former agent Aidy Ward made of his departure from The Cult and doesn’t want a repeat of that fallout.
He is forgetting the following:
1: City don’t have anything like the volume of media placemen, whether hacks, presenters or ex players given pundit gigs, as the redshirts. The Mirror/TalkShite/5 Live won’t be rolling out ex City players on an hourly basis to attack his character as they all did when he dared to ‘Go Clear’ from L (Ron Hubbard) FC
2: We are, by and large, a far saner fanbase. Players who leave respectfully and don’t subsequently chat a load of Milner-esque wham are generally thanked for their efforts and welcomed back.
3: Manchester isn’t perfect but is widely considered by pretty much everyone as a much less racist city than the former slavery/confederacy supporting liverpool. There is a reason that Manchester has a Lincoln statue.
This undercurrent fuelled much of both the fan and media reaction to what many of them saw as an uppity young black man refusing to ‘know his place’ and daring to show personal and professional ambition. When Raheem leaves City it will be more with a general air of respect for his achievements combined with a vague air of promise left unfulfilled.
"L. Ron Hubbard F.C. "
Brilliant

It's a public vote for that.

I can only think that a bloc vote was organised and all voted him 10, as the average score is ludicrous.
It's a good job they don't care about us and the Scouse cunts are their real rivals. Or vice versa depending on guilt.

BBC news headline mention dippers and salah scoring but nothing about the masterclass City delivered and how a young England talent pulled the strings.

Useless.
Or an emerging young English talent playing for his boyhood team came on and scored after recently starring for England U21's. If Palmer played for united he would be hyped up incredibly by the media....wouldnt be surprised if we start seeing articles about him needing to go on loan....forgetting Phil's route into the team.
