Can’t you just smell that the media are desperate for us to drop points?
Because these people, much like the people that inhabit places like Twitter don’t live in the real world with the rest of us. It’s the same with things like FFP and empty seats, what appears to be a big deal for people across various media platforms really isn’t a big deal for people in real life. But the neutrals aren't wanting Liverpool to win it, well the ones I've spoken to anyway. Why do these cretins think the rest of the footballing world outside Liverpool actually like that club?
Why ? It is from people who don't want to be named as the information isn't publicly known yet.Manchester City’s Owner Helps Usher More Russian Tycoons to UAE

Outside the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan is best known as owner of English football champion Manchester City. At home, he’s deputy prime minister and a powerful member of the royal family.www.bloomberg.com

I’ve been in London on business most of the week. Everyone I’ve spoken to who knows about my City links has said we have to stop them. The media are cluelessBut the neutrals aren't wanting Liverpool to win it, well the ones I've spoken to anyway. Why do these cretins think the rest of the footballing world outside Liverpool actually like that club?
I am not putting you in that bracket - I mean the ones that pick liverpool or utd that have absolutely no connection to them.I'm a sad lower league fan who supports two clubs, City and Fleetwood Town. When I was first into footy Fleetwood were Lancashire combination and my first game was a FA Cup tie with Rochdale in 1964. My dad was a Manc and City fanatic and so naturally I followed the blues as well as my home town. This caused me grief in a school that was half rag half dipper surprisingly not many Blackpool fans. In a small town local clubs rely on cross over support from the prem, don't see anything wrong in it myself. When I was younger at most home games at Maine Rd now an old man find it much more relaxing to pop along to Highbury and make trips to the Etihad an increasingly rare treat.
Yet we'll probably get one next week when we play erm NewcastleBBC redtops wishful thinking unbiased as usual , dont see any last time toon upset the scousers articles

They did the same a couple of seasons ago when were neck and neck, the talk was always about the pressure on City and never on Liverpool. All I've heard for the last couple of days is how Liverpool could put pressure on Manchester City by going ahead if they beat Newcastle.
Conversely the reports about City is that we'll be playing catch up on Saturday night.
As it occurred to the biased idiots that it's actually the dippers who are playing catch up?
These journalists/presenter are experts in spin.
I'm not convinced they do actually believe that. But the neutrals aren't wanting Liverpool to win it, well the ones I've spoken to anyway. Why do these cretins think the rest of the footballing world outside Liverpool actually like that club?
Does anyone get any work done at your place? ;-)Where I work in the centre of Manchester we have 7 dipper fans! Yes I know our recruitment policy is shocking. The year we pipped them by 1 point I had them several of them saying the country wanted them, I knew this was bollocks so carried out a bit of a test and for 3 weeks asked everyone I spoke to if they liked football and if they weren't a City, dipper, Utd or Everton fan who they wanted to win the PL. 62% said City, imagine what the % would be if I included 3 of the 4 clubs - they were speechless but "surprise surprise" couldn't accept the result. Several of them were in denial about the Gordan penalty on Sunday and can only respond with well you've had decisions go your way - I respond with name 5 over the last 3 seasons (generous number and time frame) I real off 5 for them in 60 seconds and walk off while they are still scratching their heads.
As someone from Greater Manchester I find it bizarre that anyone outside of Dipperville would support anything to do with those weirdos. Dipper fans are the most unwelcome, ill behaved “supporters” in this Country. Every year brings another example, from UEFA’s condemnation of their “fans” to spitting on our staff and supporters this season and everything that’s well documented inbetween.Where I work in the centre of Manchester we have 7 dipper fans! Correct. They did the same a couple of seasons ago when were neck and neck, the talk was always about the pressure on City and never on Liverpool.
What I don't understand is their stance on City winning again would be bad for football but Liverpool winning everything this season would be great for football.
