He's actually the Telegraoh's "Northern Correspondant" but only does Manchester.
Hopefully he'll only be doing half of that next season.

WALLACE MUST BE BANNED for that.
As should some of the usual suspects. Enough is enough. It really is beyond me why City let them in to the Etihad press box.

No one is banned because no one at city read or see the shit all over social media the club gets!

Ahsan from 9320 summed up the dishonesty perfectly the other week when he compared the tone with which Football Weekly and The Totally Football Show treat City and Juventus.

Juventus are being accused of incredibly serious financial crimes by the actual government, people are under arrest, directors and former executives have been banned from football - and the tone is “oh it’s so terrible this is happening to Juventus”

And then City come up and it’s like an early 00s mock the week episode with everyone trying to say the most extreme thing.
Good post. In fact my Spanish neighbour's when discussing City only talk about football.
They are simply not interested in the PL accusations.

Football is now a global game and frankly the UK media are acting like a Cult apparently partially succeeding in brainwashing its paying public.

Our investment total is often quoted but a respond should be to ask how much other club owners have invested then how much they have extracted from their Clubs. Compare this with Sheikh Ms investment and.how much he removed each year.

In other words football has benefited from the City investment whereas the others have taken it to use in other sectors.

I occasionally amuse myself by looking at the Express's 'football' page which usually comprises Manure / ManCity stories at a ratio of 50 / 1. So - on this day of days - will the Express change their policy and give the English team due coverage ? Well : Manure... 6 major stories and 10 minor stories. The rehabilitation of that reformed gentleman - Mason Greenwood and progress with the Qatari takeover Liverpool 4 stories Arsenal 3 stories West Ham 2 stories So what about the team representing England on this very day in the Champions League Final ... . Man City: just the one story ... Is Haaland a fraud ? I would like to read an assessment of how The Old Trafford Ministry of Truth control the objective and independent British Media.
Neither objective or independent in any way shape or form and not just on football. Still it surprises how many complain about our appalling treatment by the media from football correspondents but yet swallow every thing they read and hear in the socio-political sections.

If people really look at the ownership of just about every successful business in the World, they will find out that there are some dark arts going on. We only need to see what is going on across the pond with a successful businessman and golfer and former politician. Even the British Empire has a lot to answer for, historically at least. The hounding of City’s owners by certain factions of the press is completely unwarranted, and notice how they have been relatively unconcerned about the Newcastle United takeover, and of Chelsea in the Abramovich era. This is driven by envy because the USA owners of Man U and Liverpool, along with the Arsenal owners, really hate the fact that their cosy little cartel has been invaded by a successful business model that produces a brand of football superior to anything we had ever witnessed. Nobody mentions the additional investment in what was one of the most deprived areas in Northern England, and transformed the area around the Etihad, and also created the best academy for aspiring footballers in the World.
Just stick with one organisation Blackrock and you will find enough Dark Arts to write a PHD Thesis.

You’ve got to include the purchase price for balance.

Imagine if the Rags are bought for £6b & yet Sheik Mansour picked us for £200m, it changes the landscape completely.

I don’t moan about all the negative articles or even bother reading them.
I just take great pleasure in the fact we are hurting them big time and all the shite in the world cannot erase our success.
