Some of you on here might know that I'm a 2nd year medical student and this summer I'll be going to Honduras as part of the GKT Medical Brigades. We will be going to administer short term primary care relief clinics in the rural areas surrounding the capital Tegucigalpa. The receipients of the care will mostly be children from local orphanages and other groups that live at least 20 miles from the nearest source of healthcare.

Each brigade is composed of 15 students and we split the cost of running the 11 day clinic between us, including all the medication. Each member is required to contribute £1000.

If anyone can help or know people or companies that can help to sponsor me then that would be greatly appreciated.

I have already emailed the club and various other organisations but have heard nothing back as of yet.

If anyone requires any further information or is interested in sponsoring me, however small the contribution, please email me on guleed.adan@kcl.ac.uk or PM me and I will send you the

Here are the brigade's official websites if you are interest in getting more information about the mission and our aims:

PS If a Mod can make this a sticky then it would be appreciated
