Medical cannabis in UK.

I used to get my gear from Curaleaf – good quality buds, not too strong. The whole process is pretty straightforward and hassle-free.

that said, even for seasoned smokers, avoid the high THC strains. That stuff can mess with your head, especially if you have a history of mental health issues or are dealing with some sort of trauma. Iv seen one too many lads go down a dark hole, with constant usage of the imported cali gear measuring at 30% THC.

Anyone help me by fleshing out Curaleaf. From this thread I reached out to them gave permissions to see my sons medical records and got an email back saying book a consultation.

ARE THEY LEGIT?

My lad has a chronic pancreas condition the pain is controlled by Fentanyl and morphine daily that is losing its effectiveness, Pain team have suggested Methadone (as analgesia not to treat addiction (though i'm guessing he's way down that path after 5 years of opioid use) The thing is, Fentanyl, and morphine have never made him pain free, they have kept him out of hospital.

I realise desperation can be a gateway to be taken for a ride, and desperate is where we are .

For clarity

This sentence will haunt me forever from a 15 yr old boy whilst driving him to hospital cause an ambulance said 2 hours wait

"Dad, I'm not going to make it this time, its too bad(the pain)..thanks for everything, I love you"

They're a legit company with a decent reputation, Mamedica is another good company. If this is the route you're taking, you've got to book a consultation with them usually over a video call and everything will get assessed rather quickly.

I’m really sorry to hear about your son and his condition.

I hope you get the right medication and help for him

I now receive monthly medical cannabis from a private clinic called Mamedica. Good stuff so far, and cheaper than from the dealer. I've just received a prescription for a bottle of oil for 80 quid. I'm hoping this helps with the chronic fatigue from Long Covid.

How does that sit with uk law. Can you still get arrested for possession ?
I assume because you say Prescription it's legal but, as its private....
My stance is, if you medically need it, the NHS should provide it.

The gov wont fund the NHS...so people have to pay privately

Hope it works for you.

The oil is just two drops a day...so I won't feel stoned on it. I just hope it helps with the chronic fatigue. . I'll find out in a month. The normal bud (a spliff) helps, but that gets me stoned...so i only use that at night when i have nothing left to do. Amazing relief from the Long COVID symptoms, though.

No I realise the NHS don't pay for it. I'm saying they should but what I was asking is with the private script do the police/cps accept someone has it legally or could they try and prosecute you.
