While Cheers is the home of the Sydney Blues, it is also the home of The Liverpool Supporters Club. Unfortunately they outnumber us considerably and have a scheduled night kicking off at 6:30pm so to avoid unnecessary disturbance the Sydney Blues are looking for an alternate bar.

I'm keen to join up with some other blues but the problem is getting home after the game. Have to wait till around 5.30 for the trains to begin running again (which won't be a problem if we win as I assume the partying will continue till the morning hours...but should we lose, it will be a long, miserable night)

Thanks! I'm away in The Hunter this weekend... Gutted I'll miss the meet. If the QPR game is anything to go off, it will be mental!
Yeah, that' is the big problem for a lot of blues. A lot of us live 40+ minutes from the city so it's hard to justify getting in for a lot of the games (timing wise)!

Blue, I got a apartment in the city for $96 which is one of those value deals (http://www.meritonapartments.com.au/sydney/kent-street). Taking the missus out in the day and for dinner and meeting up with blues after. Costs me $45 for a cab home so I figure for another $50 i might as well take her out there hit the town after (and get a bit of a sleep in before work the next day).
