City looked really poor and disjointed, not looking good, could be long season ahead.
It must be the worst game we have ever played.
Warren selects 5 CD & 2 Dm, no creativity at all, we lost the midfield in the first minute and anything to our forwards was long balls.
Let's hope it's not the norm, or we will be bottom of the ladder.
Jacobsen was clearly not happy, thumping the ball away at half time.
Now that's depressing. Out of the cup and looked very poor.
Puzzling selections and formation especially first half.
Just announced signing of Ross McCormack from Aston Villa as an injury replacement for Bruno.
The League finally kicks off next Friday night (Melbourne time) with us home against Brisbane.
To say we have had a low key off season would be an understatement and our terrible performance in being knocked out of the cup doesn't instill much confidence but essentially we have a good core squad and have added some potentially good Visa signings so with a bit of luck we might be okay.
All comes down to Warren Joyce and how he can mould the team.
First game kicks off in 2 hrs great to get back and have have a few cold ones.
Optimism is high and as always ever hopeful.
It's on BTSport 2 at 09:50 here in the UK.
Come on City!
1-0 up at half time.
Good first half deserve the lead but still a half to go.
Lead 2-0 with 10 mins left.
