Which only seems to happen in Britain as far as I am aware. It's a fucking tramp thing.
Depends what you want. I am late 30s and I am quite particular about my dressing gowns. Mrs just got me a new one at xmas that weighs a tonne and is mostly towel. But you can get very light weight ones that are for coverage and comfort. Material and weight are probably the most important things you need to decide.I`ve not worn any sort of pyjamas since I was about 14 and me Mum used to play hell when I refused to wear any, but still never wear anything but my boxers even in the coldest of nights.
Now as for a dressing gown its something I`ve never had since I was about 10/11 years of age.
However, having attended a pre op meeting with Nurses and Physios before my new hip op they advised that I should purchase one to wear on my trip to the Operation Theatre as you had to keep worm just before the op.
I told the missus and reluctantly purchased one but now back home I still rarely use it.
At 74 you`d think I should know better and try to keep warm, which I do but not with said items.
Yah or nay boys ??

Myself and the lad were going to watch City via the train from Winsford to Crewe and change over for Manchester. It was the 10.07 train to Crewe from Liverpool and in the carriage we were surrounded by eight Scouse Girls all mouthing and drinking and every fucking one of em were in their jimjams and had there hair in fucking curlers and doing their make up.10 years ago in my experience it was a Liverpool thing. Girls in dressing gowns going to hairdressers or getting their make up done in the afternoon for a big night out on a Friday/ Saturday. Now it's everywhere
