Michael Kiwanuka.

Really good. Have his last two albums on Spotify. Not my usual genre but I really took a liking to him.

Anyone got any new stuff you’ve heard lately that has turned your head.

I was aware of him then saw him on Jools Holland and really enjoyed his performance so bought the album. It's an excellent record and not really my bag normally. Out of the nominees and of the records I own I would have liked to have seen Porridge Radio win but they were an outsider

Was going to comment on this as probably like you watching the legend that is Jools Holland. Michael Kiwanuka is brilliant as I also have his last two albums. Think Jimi Hendrix and Bill Withers mashed together... perfect, give it a try you would be quite pleased with the result.

Who have you heard lately that has made you take notice.
I’ll start with this Irish/Zambian rapper who has sparked my intrigue. A genre I would be totally unfamiliar with, but she is asking pertinent questions about modern Ireland.
