    Walking home last night the wind had picked up with some light rain.
    However been woken up several times by this ‘storm’.
    Mind you we do live on the side of a mountain

    They’ve just said on the news that Network Rail are ‘urging’ people not to travel - West Ham fans can’t be expected to make the journey from London, surely?

    Its not up to them though, is it? Ultimately it will be a council decision on the grounds of safety I’d have thought

    Good point, maybe that is the case. I don't know tbh. Perhaps it's a decision made by several health and safety stakeholders, based on Met office advice. Council, Police, Club?
